Defiant Surf Camp

Defiant Surf Camp is a veteran-led PTSD surf therapy initiative under Morning Ride Dawn Patrols Nonprofit, by Scott Kennedy & Nicole Gulley created with one simple belief: "Thank you for your service" should be backed by action. Too many veterans return home carrying invisible wounds that don't disappear when the uniform comes off. We use the healing power of the ocean, community, and adventure to help reconnect veterans with purpose, confidence, and one another. Every dollar donated helps us provide week-long surf therapy retreats where veterans stay together in campground yurts, learn to surf, share meals, build friendships, and step away from the daily pressures that often accompany PTSD, anxiety, depression, and isolation. Our goal is to create an environment where healing can begin through challenge, camaraderie, and the simple act of catching a wave.
